Fully Ducted Systems
Hinterland Air offers affordable ducted air conditioning installation based on the following basic requirements and assumptions:
Your Switch board does not need upgrading
Inverter ducted Reverse Cycle systems up to 14KW
Two to three zones maximum
Ample ceiling space for installation
Jobs are within the Gold Coast merto area.

- Two bedroom Apartments: $6,950 to $10,500.
- Small Three Bedroom homes: $7,950 to $11,500.
- Medium to large lowset Four Bedroom homes: $8,950 to $12,500
- Two story four bedroom homes depending on floor plan: $9,950 to $15,000
Given the complexity of ducted installations, the figures above are indicative only, and will vary based on your individual circumstances and requirements.
For larger executive homes we also offer Inverter air conditioning networked systems to cater for requriements beyond 14kw to 16kw, 22kw, 28kw and more of cooling capacity.

Split System Air Conditioners
A Split System will air condition one room or an area of your home. Elegant wall mounted, compact floor console and wall/ceiling mounted indoor units are all available for various room sizes and situations.
Daikin, LG, DeLonghi and Mitsubishi all have new ranges of Inverter Sleek or Flat Panel Split Systems. This unique design gives you a stylish unit that is also designed to operate at optimum levels. LG have picture frames and multi colour panels for interior design selection. LG have also recently released LED - back light controllers for stylish control panels for use in prestige homes.
Daikin, LG, DeLonghi and Mitsubishi are all renowned for their quiet indoor and outdoor units due to the advanced technology in the compressor, fan and motors. they all come with 5 year domestic warranties, your guarantee of quality manufacture and technology.
Split systems are available in Reverse Cycle (providing cooling in summer and heating in winter) and Cool Only models. They have easy-to-operate remote control and programmed settings as well as a host of innovative features.
Wall Splits are available using either R410A or R22 Refrigerant. R22 refrigerant is a long running industry standard refrigerant whereas R410A is the latest advancement in refrigerants.

Multi Split Systems
A Multi-Split system can air condition from two to seven rooms using only one outdoor unit. Multi-Split systems are ideal for situations where there is limited space for outdoor units or insufficient ceiling space for ducting.
A Multi-Split system allows individual control of the air conditioning in each room. This not only optimises comfort but saves on running costs as wastage is eliminated by only air conditioning rooms as and when required. On top of the savings generated from the flexibility of Daikin's Multi-Split system, further cost reductions are achieved from the energy efficient benefits of Daikin's Inverter Technology.

Multi Split Air Conditioning
Daikin and Mitsubishi Electric have three main types of systems available.
- The SUPER MULTI range can air condition Up to 4 rooms.
- The SUPER MULTI PLUS range can air condition Up to 7 rooms. - Single Phase power
- The SUPER MULTI PLUS range of air conditioners for up to 10 rooms or more - Three phase power

Super Multi Air Conditioning
The high-capacity outdoor unit is powerful enough to drive up to 4 indoor units, which solves the problem of limited installation space for the outdoor unit. An outdoor unit can be connected to any class indoor unit from 2.5 kW to 7.0 kW. The total capacity of the indoor units that can be connected is between 11kW to 15.5kW depending on the model of the outdoor unit.
There is a range of different indoor and outdoor units available.
Super Multi Plus Air Conditioning
The powerful 14.5kW system can air condition up to seven rooms from one outdoor unit, all with individual control.
- The total capacity of the indoor units that can be connected is between 7.5 kW and 25 kW.
- Indoor units range from 2.5kw to 7.7kw and are available in six types.
- A 115m piping length with no additional gas charge requirements simplifies and provides greater flexibility in installation.
- Installation is also simplified through the use of a single-phase power supply with a 30A breaker.
- There are a range of different indoor and outdoor units available.
Super Multi Plus Air Conditioning - Three phase
The powerful 16kW to 22kw systems can air condition up to ten rooms from one outdoor unit, all with individual control.
- The total capacity of the indoor units that can be connected is between 7.5 kW and 28 kW.
- Indoor units range from 2.5kw to 7.7kw and are available in six types.
- A 115m piping length with no additional gas charge requirements simplifies and provides greater flexibility in installation.
- The installation requires the use of a three-phase power supply.
- There are a range of different indoor and outdoor units available.
Commercial VRF and VRV Air Conditioning Solutions
The powerful 22kW - 100+kw VRF systems can air condition more than 20+ rooms from one to 6 banks of outdoor unit, all with individual controls and or centralised management systems.
- The total capacity of the indoor units that can be connected is between 28 kW and 180+ kW.
- Indoor units range from 2.5kw to 28kw ducted and various indoor mounted systems available.
- A 100's of meters of pipe length can be accommodated with additional gas charge requirements designed by our specialists, providing the greatest level of flexibility in installation.
- Installation requires the use of a three-phase power supply.
- There are a range of different indoor and outdoor units available.
- PC diagnostics and centralised management systems available
